Hi There!

I’m Azka, a designer and illustrator with a strong eye for visual storytelling and inclusive design, particularly for children and adolescents. With diverse professional and organizational experience, my work focuses on young, multicultural audiences and explores the intersectional role of visual design in everyday life. In recent years, I’ve pursued research topics such as art therapy techniques within animation for adolescents, cross-cultural advertising, and brand identity guides. My background in Bachelor of Design has strengthened my affinity for collaborative projects that enhance people’s everyday lives.

I’m especially interested in exploring how technology impacts children’s mental and emotional development during their formative years, and how balanced visual cues in immersive media can positively shape young people’s lives. Because of this, I believe inclusive and human-centered design should guide the way we build and use everyday technology. Check out my 2026 resume.

I’m an Indonesian designer based in Calgary, Alberta, and spent my childhood in Abu Dhabi, UAE; Manchester, UK; and Bandung, Indonesia. Outside of my practice, I spend my spare time writing fiction!
